June Skincare Haul | Paula's Choice, CosRx, Uncover Beauty, Laneige, Omaricode, CeraVe and More.

18.7.24 Lagos, Nigeria

It's been a while since I shared any kind of haul but with my delving into the realm of skincare and researching versatile and multiple use products professional women can utilise, I think I've been having a lot more hauls than I previously would and I'd like to start sharing them here.

Today's haul is a skincare haul featuring A LOT of repurchases and some newbies that I would like to try out.

I'm not sure I'll ever change my core facial cleansers. I know I'll try others to review and especially because CosRx has discontinued the Salicylic Acid cleanser. But, I can tell you for free that the change will not be an easy one.

They say not to scrimp on skincare but after spending an arm and a leg to purchase some other toners - in some instances, not finding a particular brand; I found this one from Creightons. It is affordable and available + it is great for my skin.

I'm obviously an Uncover gyal.

The Uncover Green Tea Blemish Control is a new product but this is my second one now. I recommend the Uncover Sunscreen everywhere and anywhere.

Tiam Vita B3 Source has been a staple in my routine from day 1 but, the Nineless Azelaic Acid is a new introduction. I absolutely love how this product feels on my skin and enhances the glow. I use it in the mornings after Vitamin C serum & Tiam. At the moment, I'm loyal to that routine and my skin loves it too.

The Ordinary Glycolic Acid Toner is a product I use every 2 or 3 nights or when I feel like my skin needs extra love. I have the bigger bottle but got this one because I couldn't find the bigger one anywhere.

I tried the CosRx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence once, but I didn't like it. I wanted a larger size Hyaluronic acid serum and decided to try the Hyaluronic Hydra Power Essence and I'm not going back again. This is my third repurchase.

If you want to know what I REALLY think about the Paula's Choice 2% BHA Exfoliant, maybe a look at this video will help. dat's all I'm saying.

I've never had a consistent routine with Retinols. The very first one I used was the Urban Skin Rx Retinol Rapid Repair And Dark Spot Treatment which I loved. But the price went out of my budget range and for a product I use every day (yes, my aesthetician said I can use it everyday), it was a lot. Maybe I'll go back to it someday. In the meantime, This will be the 4th retinol product I'm trying out. Let's see how it goes.

First time using anything from Omaricode Beauty or Klairs. I was looking for makeup cleansing products as an alternative to cleansing balms and to help with double cleansing.

For The Ordinary Peeling Solution, the story is long!

My aesthetician recommended a surface peel with no downtime for me more than a year ago but due to logistics and work timing, I've been unable to go and have been dependent on home skincare maintenance all this while. I came across this product and thought "why not try this pending when I can go to Skin & Beyond?". Alas, here we are! From all the reviews I've read about it, I do have high hopes.

I'm a balm girl. This video says it all.
I always wanted to try Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask and I got to purchase the itsy bitsy size of it which I love a lot. Decided to get the full-size and I can't wait until I can start using it.
