I've never being one to document my natural hair growth even when I was one of the well known natural hair bloggers in Nigeria so it's a surprise to many that I'm posting updates. But this has literally been one of the most anticipated phases of my life so heck yeah, I'll document it for sure.
If you follow me on Instagram stories or maybe Whatsapp stories, then I took you along with me sometime in August when I went to get my very last trim. It was a bit emotional for me seeing as I really loved the hot, short hair look. But it's time to get back to my true calling so here I am, embarking on the natural hair journey for the second time in 2 years (the last time, hopefully)
At first, the plan was to document the journey monthly, but my laptop crapped out and while I've snippets captured with my iPhone, it's not enough for monthly update update videos - edited with imovie on my iPhone or iPad. In the meantime, I've decided to share picture updates until I can get my laptop fixed.
It's exactly 2 months now and I can't believe how excited I am about it. I've started doing little things to my hair like sponge twists and I'm thinking of shingling while it is still so short.
What else do you think I can do to my hair?
