#BlackFriday is a term that Nigerians are still apprehensively embracing even though it's a day that promises a lot of returns but ends up with you on your computer looking at either a hanging site or better still, a crashed one.
Moving on....this year's #BlackFriday - November 27th thankfully had something way more interesting going on - the launch of the iPhone 6s & 6s plus in Nigeria and yours truly had been invited to this exclusive, strictly by invitation bloggers event. It's not very often that tech brands acknowledge beauty or fashion bloggers so every time I get a chance to collaborate with brands in other industries, I'm always excited.
At the back of my mind, I was hoping I'd get one though and I did ask when I got the call of invitation, lol.
I'm not going to bore you with all the boring details from the event especially since I didn't get an iPhone6s. But I did exchange contacts with some of the authorised iPhone 6s & 6s plus retailers from Slot, Pointek, Micro Station and Dallas Comms.*wink, wink* so perhaps I'll be able to create some beauty posts around mobile iphoneography sometime soon. *going on my knees and praying that they do contact me sooner than later. prayers work o...remember my GoPro*
While our ie. my; photography hasn't advanced so much, I was able to snag these here pictures from the event for y'all 'cos I love you.
here is me with Noble of 360nobs (y'all know him right?) & Amaka Nwoko Rowland, Business Director Squad Digital. That was my 'androgynous with a touch of vintage' outfit day.
Mr. Phrank Rowland – Silver Phoenix Nigeria (they did the entire event) and Mr. Stanley Igbinovia, Head – Retail & Operator Business, Telecom, Redington Nigeria Limited
From Left - Mr. Dallas, Owner Dallas Communications, Mr. Ebenezer, Purchase Manager, SLOT, Mr. Stanley Igbinovia, Head – Retail & Operator Business, Telecom, Redington Nigeria Limited, Mr. Femi, Manager representing Micro station, Mr. Vincent, Manager, Pointek (the authorised dealers I'm looking forward to working with soon *wink*)
Noble and Kimani were the hosts of the event. Hmmm, first time I've ever seen Noble host an event sha *runs away*
I FINALLY met Unilag Olodo aka. Ibrahim Salau. OMG, huge famzin moment for me mehn. Here he is with @DatGuyKofo, another Twitter influencer (darlins, I stick to my niche hence meeting him for the first time, lol)
FYI, the hashtag for the event - #iPhone6sNigeria - trended on twitter that day. With all the twitter bigwigs at the event why won't it? yimu.
I'm usually not an iPhone person as you all know but I'm looking forward to playing with the 6s mainly 'cos I've become a mobile tech geek in the course of my blogging career and while it takes great mini videos and all, don't you wonder how it would fare if I used it to create all my blog content for a bit?
Hear this - The Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s plus both have major changes on the inside and outside

Guess the iPhone6s tagline “The only thing that’s changed is everything” is true then. But hey, you know me, I'll be looking forward to giving you intimate deets about the phone specs once I've had a chance to play with it.
Till next time darlings,
