Hello lovelies,
......or don't you think so?
I've been up and about, everywhere but not anywhere. I've been to Port Harcourt working on a project for Nayanga.com which will be out soon. I'm so excited about it and really can't wait. That's aside the project with Millesime by R&M which I've been handling PR for along with Influencer Marketing (word of advise here, quite a number of bloggers are unaware of the professionalism of blogging so it's getting pretty hard especially with the demands of brands these days and the compeition in the industry).
Anyway, this month is Breast Cancer Awareness month and as usual Genevieve Magazine is all up in our grid promoting the cause so you all make sure you head over to their website and follow their October activities.
In the spirit of pink, I'm currently running a #PinklipsChallenge on Instagram for the rest of the month. I started yesterday and have only 2 entries which you can check out here and here.
I've had these pictures from the first month of my big chop but have not had the chance to edit and post them. This however, seems like just the right moment to post them as it ties in with the October Pink theme. This was the Sunday right after the Kamdora WSW event and I got an L.A. Girl matte lip gloss from Beauty Rev NG in my goodie bag. Quite bright, I wanted to give it a try even though it was absolutely out of my comfort zone. This is what I came up with.
I'd always wanted to do a contrasting colour look and since I hadn't touched the Zaron eyeshadow duo in Envy in a while, I decided to pair it with the pink L.A. Girl matte gloss.
deepened the lip with the +NYX Cosmetics Cappuccino pencil. Just to make the pink a lot tamer and more my style.
Not to toot my own horn, but the look went perfectly with my Nouva Couture flowery dress.......or don't you think so?
