Event | Elizabeth Arden Opens it's doors in Africa with Adeola Ariyo as Brand Ambassador

First of all, let me warn you that this is a long post, lol. So sit back, pour yourself a glass of champagne and enjoy 'cos it's quite an interesting one *wink*

As I grew to become a young lady with frequent issues relating to my skin, my mum would tell me "you have a job and earn a good salary, you should try changing your cream to the Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference lotion. It's not a cream you buy this month and that's the end o, you have to plan towards it each month". 

Needless to say, these past years, I heard about Elizabeth Arden A LOT. Having the opportunity to welcome the brand into Nigeria is more than I could hope for.....but now I actually am welcoming the brand into Nigeria *double whoop!!*

Now, contrary to what y'all may be thinking that perhaps they might only come with the skincare, I'm supremely pleased to tell you that the entire Elizabeth Arden range of products will be available in Nigeria *double whoop again!!* No stand alone stores as some of you might be asking but there will be Elizabeth Arden counters in Montaigne Place outlets in Lagos and Enugu for starters.

Along with the announcement of the brand's coming into Nigeria is their making of Adeola Ariyo, a Nigerian super model, their Ambassador in Africa. She will be featured in its Visible Difference, Skin Illuminating and Flawless Finish Perfectly Nude Make Up SPF15 campaigns across Africa.

The decision to add a new Brand Ambassador to Elizabeth Arden in Africa comes as the brand begins its expansion into the continent. 

“Expanding into Africa is an exciting venture for our brand. It is an opportunity to really celebrate African beauty” comments Corne Nel, Managing Director of Elizabeth Arden in Africa. "‘To be beautiful is the birthright of every woman’. As a company we want to celebrate each woman’s unique beauty through individuality, diversity and original expressions of beauty” 

On Adeola Ariyo as the Ambassador, Corne Nel remarks, “Adeola has all of these qualities and as a prestige beauty brand we wanted to choose a spokesperson that African women could identify with”

On the announcement as Africa ambassador for the brand, Adeola has this to say, “Being chosen as an Elizabeth Arden Brand Ambassador in Africa is an incredible honour. Elizabeth Arden herself was an entrepreneur, women’s advocate and a champion for holistic beauty, inspiring women all over the world. I am proud to be associated with a brand that embodies such important values”.

The brand recently hosted editors, writers, bloggers, on-air personalities, editors, bloggers, writers, columnists, contributors and on-air personalities at Talindo Steak House in Victoria Island.

Adeola Ariyo, the brand ambassador was also present at the event and presented a rousing speech about the brand, it's history and her excitement about working with them.
