Week 1 | Khuraira Stick Foundations

After using the Black Opal stick foundations for years an loving them especially for photoshoots and in a pinch for weddings too, I was pretty excited to try out the Khuraira stick foundations.

I must say though that the shades I got don't quite provide me with the variety the 3 Black Opal shades I have do as I got one very light and then 3 darker than medium shades.

Chocolate, Rich Bronze, Sun Tan, Espresso

Stick foundations are great for providing full coverage so you can use them as concealers too. Sheer them for light to medium coverage by applying lightly or mixing with moisturiser or MAC Fix+.

the 3 dark shades are very similar with the only difference being the undertones as one is cool, one is very red and the other is an ordinary warm tone.

The Khuraira stick foundations are not an exception to this however, their unique properties though are

1. They contain SPF. As stated in this post, suncreen is uber important in any climate.
2. Unlike their Black Opal counterpart, these do not have an oily finish. 
3. They have a velvety creme-to-powder finish, so they are great for people with oily skin, acne and other skin blemishes. 
4. A little goes a long way with these as they were made with light and long lasting coverage in mind.

Will I recommend? Yes, I will especially if you are a lover of creme foundations as they do tend to have a lovely skin-like finish.
