Zaron is a Nigerian hair and makeup brand which is poised to take over the market. It has been in the workings for a while now but finally the formal launch took place at the Banquet hall of Eko Hotel and Suites.
I went with my sister and because we stayed late in church for some meetings and FAFs, we got there quite late. Our saving grace was that the event did not start by 5 o’clock as initially planned. We arrived at about the time Helen Paul was rounding up her performance and I only got to take very few pictures. (I have to learn how to take pictures when the subject is in motion and when the lighting is poor. I know the camera has these settings but the pictures still didn’t come out well)
I recorded some half and half videos though and im uploading them in this post as well. Please bear with me, im sure the next event videos and pictures will be of better quality.
Here are some of the pictures I took at the event
The event programme
Ifeoma Williams and Helen Paul (I wonder if you can see her). This was taken as soon as we arrived.
The delectable Ifeoma Williams was the host of the event.
The models applauding the brand owner and her daughters. Zaron was coined out of their names, one of which is Zara (i cant remember the name of her second daughter)
Tiwa Savage and her dancer whom I never get tired of watching.

Vixen and I
Our one and only PCMAN president – Eni Lise Balogun
Lise and Aramide Santos. PCMAN was fully represented. I didn’t get prior info about the dress code that’s why im not wearing mine (it would have saved me ransacking my closet for what to wear).
Omontese ‘Beautycook’ Akhetuan – PCMAN PRO. She issued out the invites for the launch.
Bayo, a recent colleague of mine who now works for Nigezie
My sister met a colleague of hers at the event. I mistakenly cut her off the pic.
I compensated with this one.
My sister and I
We were all given a goodie bag with the Zaron name on it.
The bag contained a portable hand dryer, a biro, a key holder ad a wrist band (I think my sis flicked mine cos it wasn’t in the bag when I wanted to take pictures of the contents)
I was very disappointed not to receive samples of the makeup products but o well, I will definitely be buying them for one of my Nigerian makeup brands review so you can be sure that it will be featured in my blog soon. I tried uploading the videos but they keep on hanging. Im really sorry about that. Hope you enjoy the post nwayz.
