1923 Face of the Day: Pink for a change

I have on pink lip colour in this face of the day. It was actually supposed to be a dark blue based red colour but its Friday and im wearing a blue polo top with jeans and sandals and behind my head I see my boyfriend saying “No Barbara, you look nice but the makeup is too much for today’s look”. Iv no hooker heels in sight and im loath to change my top (can you imagine taking off a polo top after applying a full face of makeup? Not likely). So I decide to blot the red lipstick to a stain and top it with light pink lip gloss and voila…. This is what you get.

Im looking quite colourful for a change (I wasn’t courageous enough to extend the colour to my e/s though. Please bear with me), except for y eyes where I have neutral tones and a highlight (I love putting highlights in my inner tear duct area, it positively opens up the eyes)

Sleek foundation and powders (im sorry but i cant remember the names as they were in a palette)
Orekelewa blush in 25 (on my cheek bones, temples, forehead and chin)
Gingerbread MUD cheek colour (forehead, chin, above cheek bones, bridge of nose)

 

Eyes
Clear mascara for my brows
Gingerbread MUD cheek colour (all over my eyes from upper lashline to brow bone)
Black Radiance Eyeshadow quartet in 8808 (bronze colour to blend out the teal blue)
MaryKay liquid liner in black
Glitter gal mascara in black

Lips
MUD natural lip pencil (edges of the lips)
Tara lipstick in Funke (applied all over lips and blotted out to a stain)
Sleek high shine lipgloss (cant remember the name and its peeled off the tube), all over lips
